VISION, GOAL AND STRATEGIC PLAN FOR ROTARY YEAR 2025-26
The Vision, Goal and Strategic Plan of RC Ramna takes into consideration that D64 is having “ Non- Districted Status” at the moment. Within the limitation of this stipulation, RC Ramna will continue to work fervently to advance the cause of Rotary In the communities that we serve.
In order to achieve our vision, the club will adopt a series of related approaches, as follows:
- continue innovative approaches/model to empower capacities of the communities to change their lives for better
- become recognized as a relevant service organization which could participate in policy dialogues concerning community challenges and opportunities
- work with both local and International partners for joint collaborative projects in order to bring about greater impact in a sustainable manner.
The RC Ramna strategic plan for the multiple years set the framework for our future, ensuring that the club continues to be known as a respected, vibrant and dynamic organization that can effectively serve the communities that we serve. Of course, the plan links to the Global as well as that of the District strategies as set by Rotary International. By honoring our past and embracing the future challenges, we can evolve and keep rotary not only relevant, but also increasing our impact.
The Rotary Club of Ramna was chartered in 1977 and considered as one of the oldest and experienced clubs under District 3281.
Since the inception, the club has pioneered many community services projects, such as MOSTI ( manually operated Shallow Tubewell for Irrigation, 3H Programme ( health, hunger and humanity), educational development, health and nutrition, improvement of environment, addressing the basic needs of urban slum areas, in organising eye camps, supporting global efforts in Polio Eradication activities. In recent years, RC Ramna provided support and was involved in implementation of several Global Grants Projects, involving International Partners, Local Implementing Partners and close collaborations with RI and District.
The Club also has been active in fellowship, membership growth and development and providing leadership at both club and District level.
Keeping the above in mind, RC Ramna’s Vision, Goal and Strategic Plan for year 2025-26 and beyond will focus on the most priority areas of both RI and District strategies. In short , this will encompass:
Strategic Priority 1: Increasing Impact
-This will be done through development of a strategy with engagement and in consultation.
with all members of the club. This will entail that the club has a longer-term plan for what it wants to accomplish and how to have an impact. These strategic conversations must involve all stakeholders who can give continuity over several years.
- In order to increase the impact of our service projects, the club will ensure assessment of the community needs in involvement of the local community for sustainability and lasting impact. This process has already started in development of RC Ramna Global grant projects. The experiences thus gathered will be applied in respect of other projects to be initiated by the club during the rotary year.
