RC. Ramna completed 107 projects. Dr. Shahida, first lady President took the club to newer heights, RC. Ramna topped the list with 18 awards in the centennial year. RC. Ramna intoduced AIDS initiative running trophy. On behalf of the Club, Rtn. PP Mahmudur Rahman and Rtn. Dr. Shahida Rahman donated the trophy in memory of PDG. Syed Muhammad Hossain (1955-56), grandrfather (maternal) of Rtn. PP. Mahmudur Rahman. She was the centennial President.

Received * District award for excellent hosting of GSE team from Sri Lanka. * RI Presidential Citation * DG’s appreciation for outstanding work * For the first time, RC Ramna sponsored a new Rotary Club- Rotary club of Baridhara. * In association with Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka West, arranged eye camp at village Akhalia, Narshingdi and operated on 70 poor cataract patients and distributed free inter ocular lens and medicines. * Contributed to the reserve fund an amount of Taka 50,000 out of surplus created from contribution by the patrons.
