To make dream real for child and mother, an assistance was given to a school in Indian enclave for poor students and books and other stationeries were distributed among underpriveledged students in Modda, Mymensgh. Dictionaries were distributed among young children. A dopler machine was provded to Ajimpur Maternity Hospital for treatment of poor women. A District seminar was organized in association with water resources Dept of BUET where six prominent water experts including an expert from India presented papers on current issues.

- Received RI President’s Citation for her support to promote rotary cause. - Re- invigorated the Rotaract Club of Ramna with new members and series of youth activities. - The EarlyAct Club of Ramna was established for the first time. - Organized three joint seminars on Road Safety, HIV/AIDS Prevention, Awareness on Breast Cancer were arranged with other Rotary Clubs. - Service projects , following the club plan of action, were supported at the community level in various locations including RCC villages, covering all avenues of services. - During the year, the Club inducted 7 new members, including 5 women members. - Recognized 10 eminent women professionals by awarding them Professional Excellence Award - Continued close collaboration with RC of Calcutta Majestic through visit by RC Ramna members, and providing funds in support of two project activities of the Majestic club for the second year. - As recognition of the performance throughout the year, the Club received 7 awards in the District Award Ceremony.
